Bidding on Beckham
There aren't too many times I wish I could go back to childhood but considering my obsession with all things Beckham, this auction is a good argument for it. In an auction held by the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team, kids, aged eight to 14, can win one of 18 spots to participate in the "Dream Team" for the upcoming Galaxy-Real Madrid match on July 18. Parents can bid on the opportunity to walk out side-by-side with David Beckham, Real Madrid and the L.A. Galaxy during the starting lineups. The current bid for Becks is already over $1,000.
