Visitors who which to experience the beauty of China's Yunnan province will soon have a new place to stay. The Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts has created a resort in the province which borders Tibet. The Banyan Tree Ringha takes its design cues from Tibetan culture and is made of Tibetan farmhouses which were taken down and reconstructed at the new site. The Banyan Tree Ringha features 32 Tibetan suites and lodges and each room comes with a luxuriously designed bathroom fitted with a handcrafted wooden bathtub. The Banyan Tree Ringha offers a selection of tour options to explore surrounding areas and there are special spa packages available. The Banyan Tree Ringha is expected to open on September 1 and room rates start from US$500 for the Tibetan Suites and US$700 for Tibetan Lodges.
