Chula Vista Breaks Ground on Major Development in Wisconsin Dells
The Chula Vista Resort, a family-owned water park resort in the Upper Wisconsin Dells, officially began a planned $200 million expansion. The project, which will be developed in several phases over the next four years, is expected to be the single largest in Wisconsin Dells history. Plans include 166 condominiums, an 80,000 square-foot indoor water park and a new restaurant. More than 30,000 square-feet of meeting space will also be added to the resort's existing convention facilities. The resort will also make major improvements to nearby Cold Water Canyon Golf Course. Completion is expected early summer 2006.
