Get the First U.S. Maybach 57 S
The Maybach 57 S will make its North American debut at the 2005 RM Monterey Sports and Classic Car Auction on August 19 and 20 and even better, it can be bought. The first U.S. production model of the new 57 S will be auctioned off with proceeds going to Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The auction is part of the events leading up to the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The 57 S is the new sportier Maybach. It is powered by a special AMG developed 604 HP V12 twin-turbo engine and can reach a top speed of 172 mph. It has tone-on-tone paint, a new grille design, chrome-trimmed fog lights and body color headlamp surrounds. Inside it has a Nappa leather interior with carbon fiber trim. The estimated cost is $360,000.
