Rick Shroeder's $29 Million Ranch
This week's LA Times Hot Property brings us another look at a home we've been lusting after since February as well as a look at the real estate dealings of Rick Schroeder. Schroeder, the former child actor and NYPD Blue star is returning to Los Angeles. In addition to buying a ranch in Topanga, he's also selling a $4.5 million home in Scottsdale, Arizona and putting his massive Colorado ranch on the market for $29 million. Mesa Mood Ranch is nearly 15,000 acres of land near Grand Junction, Colorado. It includes a modest log cabin residence of 2500 sq. ft. The home has two private bedrooms, a large loft, two baths and a large family room. Power to the house is provided by generator and propane, and water is supplied by a nearby spring. The ranch includes three large cabins that can accomodate up to 20 people.
