Contents of Mitterand's Wine Cellar Up For Sale
French wine may be currently having its trouble but the opportunity to bid on a French vintage collection is still intriguing. Even better when it was the collection of the former president of France, Francois Mitterrand. What treats lie in Mitterrand's cellar? Some of the rarities include a 1865 Delamain cognac, an 1890 Armagnac and many commemorative bottles given to the president by visiting dignitaries. And it's not all French wine either, there are bottles from around the world including a 1957 Fonseca port and many good German wines. The goods go on sale June 14 at Drouot in Paris.
