Ballymena
Our excellent reader Duarte, reminds us not to ignore the fabulous estates to the north. This article in the Globe and Mail talks about two mansions on Canada's "Gold Coast" of Oakville, Ontario. The first is a nearly 11,000 sq. ft. home that built for Frank Dunn, the former CEO of Nortel Networks. The home was custom built last year but is only finished up to the drywall. Far more seductive is the tempting Ballymena. Ballymena is for sale for $23.4 million and has 26,000 sq. ft. of space. There are seven bedrooms, an indoor pool and a wine cellar. The estate sits on nine acres and fronts Lake Ontario. Click through for pics of the interior.

Guess Frank won't be needing so much space in the future.
Hope they have a nice 7 X 12 waiting for him at Ottawa-Carleton .
