Fly First Plans for Transatlantic Flights
Missing the days of the Concorde and being able to zip elegantly across the pond? This is London reports on Fly First, a new company that plans to fly business class only Boeing 757s. Fly First is currently raising funding to outfit two Boeng 757s with four cabins of 12 seats/beds each. They aim to fly from Luton airport to Newark airport and beat the first British Airways morning flight from London to New York by two hours. Pricing should be in the $6,000—$7,500 range. Fly First hopes to begin flying in November.
