Club Macanudo
This article in the NY Times on the cigar renaissance, alerted us to Club Macanudo. Unlike the Grand Havana Room, Club Macanudo is a restaurant, bar and cigar lounge open to everyone. Club Macanudo functions like a private club with humidors for rent and catering services. The restaurant has a full dinner menu and a selection of drinks that includes the $63 martini, a mixture of Chateau Font Pinot XO cognac , Belle de Brille pear-flavored cognac liqueur, 20 year-old Real Companhia port, and Fiji Pear Nectar. They have a complete cigar menu which includes a selection of vintage macanudos. The club attracts a celebrity clientele and anyone who wants to enjoy a cigar in a posh and relaxed atmosphere.
