Norma Kamali I Love Olive Oil

Norma Kamali, the fashion designer famous in the 1980s for her draped jersey ensembles, turned her eye toward beauty and gourmet products with the creation of her Bar XV line. Some of the offerings in her gourmet line are a bit bizarre but her minimalist designed olive oil line is intriguing. Her extra virgin olive oils are broken down by region including Tuscany, La Mancha, Grasse and this beautifully golden one from Pantelleria, a volcanic island between Tuscany and Sicily. Each oil from a different from a different color and flavor. A 500 ML bottle of the Pantellaria costs $45. It would be fun to see her do this with regional salts next.
