Barris Famous Cars Auction

Want your own General Lee?  That's just one of over 70 cars and motorcycles set to hit the block when car customizer George Barris auctions off his collection of movie and TV cars.  Other items up for bid include the Ford Torino from "Starsky & Hutch," the car used in "Christine," KITT from "Knight Rider" and many others.  Bonhams & Butterfields in LA will hold the auction on May 14.  This General, a 1969 Charger was the #1 stand-by car on "The Dukes of Hazzard" and is estimated to sell for $75,000—$85,000.  The #2 stand-by car is also up for bid.
