Customizing the Airbus A380
The Boston Globe has an article on the lucrative business of
tricking out custom jets. We've seen jet customization
before but our ears always prick up at the mention of our favorite runway hog, the
Airbus A380. Edese Doret, a company which
specializes in custom design, has done many private jet projects but there most massive task is taking on the
A380. Plans for the plane include three galleys, a master bedroom, master bathroom with a Jacuzzi and shower,
spiral staircases and a "desert oasis" that includes a mosaic of the Sahara. Something tells me this plane will
be flying to the Middle East upon completion.
