Pickfair Sells
Sunday's LA Times Hot Property section reports that Pickfair, the legendary estate of Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford has sold. We first wrote about Pickfair back in November. Pickfair is a massive 15 bedroom, 17 bathroom Georgian mansion on 2.23 acres in Beverly Hills. Back in November, the asking price was $27 million but Pickfair was discounted to move and sold for around $20 million. Also in Hot Property was the news that Frankie Muniz, he of the too many blue cars, also had one too many houses in the same neighborhood and has put one house on the market for $4.6 million.
