Day Jet
USA Today reports on DayJet, the latest private jet service to enter the increasingly crowded charter market. DayJet will function like a cross between a private charter and an airline and will fly very light jets. Planes can be ordered via DayJet's website. The system would try to fill all the seats just like an airline. The flight would cost the same regardless of whether the plane was full. The tickets are expected to be only a little higher than traditional flights and will focus on medium-sized cities. The service is expected to begin sometime next year.
