Etro Butterfly Bag

Etro's latest handbag collection has me a bit confused. On one level, I have to admire the creativity of these creations but on another level some of the bags, particularly this butterfly creation seem like a pastiche of too many ideas at once. Multicolored metallic leather patches form butterfly wings, there is a shoulder strap with stud trim and long leather tassels are attached to each wing. The bag sells for $1,140 at Neiman Marcus.

This shouldn't work at all - butterflies, jarring colours, studs and leather and tassels, but I quite like it. So shoot me! However, I don't like it $1,140-worth. Mx
