Vent-a-Hood
Vent-a-Hood has been making blower systems since the 1930s. Their hoods are available for islands as well as standard stovetops. They use the Magic Lung technology which is traps all the cooking contaminants, liquefies grease vapor and removes the heat-polluted air. It collects grease in a easily cleaned container and is designed to keep a grease fire from spreading. When the temperature rises the heat sensor automatically increases the motor speed and then slows it back down as the hood cools. Good for those of us who tend to drift away from the kitchen with the burners on.
