Steve Wynn's Encore

Steve Wynn, the brainchild behind the soon to open Wynn Las Vegas (which we've covered before), is not sitting on his laurels. An article last week in the USA Today (originally Wall Street Journal) points out that Wynn is already onto his next Strip scheme, known as Encore. This new luxury resort, orginally slated as a Wynn Las Vegas expansion, will feature 2,300 rooms meant to trump all other luxury lodging in town. Each room, according to the article, will span over 1,000 square feet in living space and price for at least $350 a night. Encore is due to open in 2008.
