Louis Vuitton Cerise Collection
The advertisements with Uma Thurman snuggling up to the Vuitton Cerise bag are everywhere this season. The new Cerise line is another collaboration between Vuitton and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. When Vuitton and Murakami first teamed up to create the candy-colored Eyelove and Multicolore bags it seemed like genius but this latest incarnation makes us wonder if maybe this collaboration has run its course. This new idea isn't so much a melding of two differing aesthetics as it is taking an aging though still lovely classic beauty and dressing her in J-Lo's new fashion line. It just doesn't mesh.

I disagree - I think the new Cerises line is great. I will have my new Speedy 30 within the week. So there!
