BBQ U--Barbecue University at the Greenbriar Hotel
Have the need to be the grillmaster this summer? The Greenbrier Hotel, located in West Virginia, has a three-day package that will cover everything from sauce to smoking. Your teacher will be Steven Raichlen, cookbook author and host of the PBS series Barbecue University. The course takes place at Kate's Mountain, a lodge with a teaching kitchen and an outdoor area with smokers, wood and charcoal burning grills, and high-end gas super grills. The package costs $3,094.96 for a couple or $2,351.90 per person and covers accomodations and meals. Luckily the hotel also has golf, tennis and a complete fitness center if you overindulge during class.
