Beverly Hills Approves New Hotel
A week ago we asked whether Beverly Hills needed a new hotel. Apparently the residents of the wealthy community seem to think so. Yesterday Beverly Hills residents voted in favor of the Montage Hotel which will be located downtown. The often-controversial $200 million project is still facing a lawsuit in Superior court. The hotel will be built on a combination of private land and a city-owned parking lot and is expected to be a luxury destination resort with shops, restaurants, hotel rooms and condos.
