Prices for the Plaza
We talked recently about the plans for New York's Plaza Hotel's new condos. Now the NY Post has the preliminary price estimates. The cheapest studios, without park views are expected to go for around $1 million. Larger apartments with views of Central Park could go for $6,000 per square foot which would be around the cost per foot of the $70 million Pierre penthouse. Much will depend on the current state of real estate when the condos are closer to completion in late 2006 but some new records could be set.
