Medway Plantation
One extremely high end property which reflects the extravagant lifestyle of the old South is the Medway Plantation near Charleston, South Carolina. This plantation, which sits on over 6,700 acres of classic Southern lands like rice fields and bottomland swamps, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the "oldest standing structure of masonry construction in South Carolina".
