Bocage Plantation
Set near the Mississippi River between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, the historical Bocage Plantation has come to market for $5.5 million. The plantation is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and first dates back to 1801. The property sits on 110 acres of land, with the house itself 7,400 square feet and 4 bedrooms. Bocage is a completely restored antebellum mansion which hints of Greek Revival and slight French Colonial influences. It has been the setting of a movie and is also featured in numerous books.
