Ernst Benz Diamond Millenium Watch
Ernest Benz watches are perfect for airplane aficionados. Ernst Benz is a Swiss engineer famous for a variety of innovations for audio equipment and aircraft. He then decided turn his skills toward building a large format watch. The diamond millennium limited edition version of the Ernest Benz Chronosport is a total production of 100 serially numbered pieces. It has an oversized 47mm polished stainless steel case with an 18-karat solid gold bezel encrusted with 48 diamonds and a total weight of 3.5 carats. The winding crown is also 18 karat gold. These watches also have one of my favorite features a clear observation back so you can see the movements. The limited edition is $12,995. The watch was created to honor the centennial of the December 1903 Wright Brothers flight at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina and a portion of the proceeds benefits the Wright Brothers National Memorial.
