Chanel Opens A New Boutique in Japan
This week Chanel opens its largest boutique, a 10-floor building in the Ginza district of Tokyo, Japan. The store will feature a concert hall, a restaurant helmed by Alain Ducasse and items sold nowhere else. The glass facade of the building doubles as a television screen to broadcast to passers-by. The restaurant called Beige, will serve contemporary French food and Japanese shoppers can have coffee on the roof terrace, Tweed Garden. The launch party and fashion show extravaganza is scheduled for Saturday.
