Walden--Ohio's First Five Diamond Resort

Ohio finally has a hotel worthy of the five-diamond rating. The AAA rating system will bestow a Five Diamond Award on the 6-year-old Walden Country Inn & Stables in Aurora, Ohio, a luxury retreat in horse country south of Cleveland. It is the first time Ohio has made the five-diamond list which features many of the nation's top hotels including The Greenbrier, The Camelback Inn and most of the Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons hotels. Things that make the Walden worthy of note include the en-suite spa services, including facials, manicures and massages, as well as Frette sheets, two bathrooms, two multi-line phones, digital music channels and a variety of standard amenities. Walden also has a complete equestrian center, golf course and a private theater which can screen movies or sporting events.
