Reclaimed Wood from Mountain Lumber Company

There is nothing like the patina of old wood but when you are building a new house it's not easy to find massive amounts of old finished wood. Mountain Lumber, a company in Virginia, reclaims wood from factories, barns and even brewery vats from the Guinness brewery in Dublin. The floors come in a variety of woods including granary oak and hard maple and are perfect for houses that are built in an older style. The oak shown here is from cider vats. Your house may be new but the floors will have a story to tell.
