Power & Motoryacht Lists America's 100 Largest Yachts

bartroberts Power and Motoryacht looks at America's 100 largest yachts. Even better, some of them are for sale. For your Pirates of the Caribbean fantasy there is Bart Roberts which is #5 on the list. Shown here, it has a huge 14-ton stone fireplace, carries a 50-foot catamaran and a 38-foot aluminum landing boat. The pirate theme is enhanced by a floor design which features doubloons and a pistol. Bart Roberts also has a machine shop to fix any problems that arise because the ship was formerly an icebreaker for the Canadian Coast Guard. Bart Roberts is over 265 feet and costs $25 million. The top of the list is taken by Larry Ellison's new yacht Rising Sun. Yacht watchers have been anxiously watching the project. The yacht is over 452 feet which has pushed the new project to the top of the list just above computer rival Paul Allen's yacht Octopus. Details about Rising Sun are hard to come by but considering the features that are available on other yachts on the list, including pools, basketball courts and theater rooms, the Rising Sun must be stuffed with special details.
