The $100 Philadelphia Cheese Steak

cheesesteak Barclay Prime steakhouse has taken the famous Philadelphia cheese steak to the next level by offering an upcale cheese steak filled with Kobe beef, Taleggio cheese, truffles and foie gras. The new steakhouse also will throw in a mini bottle of champagne with the $100 sandwich. While expensive hamburgers are fairly common, the haute cheese steak is definitely a new phenomenon. Stephen Starr, the owner of Barclay Prime, admits that it's a marketing ploy but thinks it might sell.
