The Magazine with No Name for Centurion AmEx Holders
American Express has rolled out the first issue of an unnamed
unlogoed black-on-black covered magazine exclusively for Centurion card holders. The magazine will be published
quarterly by American Express Publishing and the first issue was delivered to Centurion members in a black box.
The content includes luxury lifestyle information and profiles of power players. To get a black Centurion card, you
need to be invited. Only those who spend at least $150,000 on their cards will be asked. The annual fee is
$2,500. The card itself, with its concierge service, free upgrades and undeniable clout may be a worthwhile
thing to have in your wallet but the magazine, with a scant five articles, seems more like a pointless perk.
