2005 Itinerary for The World of Residensea
Residensea has announced its 2005 itinerary for The
World. The floating resort will be headed to India, Scandinavia, New York, Montreal and Barcelona among
other destinations. The World is a residential community at sea that allows people to buy one, two or
three bedroom apartments on board or purchase vacation time. Most of the apartments have private balconies,
kitchen space and living rooms. The World will start 2005 in South Africa and special spots on this year's
itinerary include out-of-the-way places like the Maldive and Seychelle islands as well as Malaysia and Thailand.
After a tour through Europe and Canada, the boat will end up in the Caribbean for the winter months of next year.
Stays of six days or more can be arranged aboard The World. The "Travel by Design" program lets you meet up with the boat wherever it is on its yearly journey and stay for as long as you like. The itinerary usually calls for two to five day stays in each port city, a more relaxed option than is available on most ordinary cruises.
